Negar Hassanzadeh is an Iranian actress, filmmaker, and screenwriter currently based in Los Angeles. Born in Iran, she holds a bachelor’s degree in photography and is pursuing a master’s in film directing at CalArts.

Negar has acted in various TV shows, feature films, short films and plays. Her short film Lunge has gained international recognition, participating in festivals such as the Early Bird Student International Film Festival and the Red Sea International Film Festival and etc.

Lunge has won

 awards at the Liberec Czech Republic Sport Film Festival and the Matera Sport Film Festival. She also received an appreciation letter from the Newport Beach Film Festival for Lunge.
